Privacy policy.

How we collect, use, and protect your data — written in plain language, not legal fog.

No Selling

We never sell your personal information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.

Minimal Data

We collect only what we need to run the site and respond to you. Nothing more, nothing hidden.

One-Click Out

Unsubscribe, delete your data, or opt out of tracking — all in a single click, no email gymnastics.

Encrypted Transit

All data moves over HTTPS. Submissions are processed in trusted, access-controlled environments.

Our promise

Privacy you can actually read.

Most privacy policies are written to confuse. This one isn't. We'll tell you what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to take it back. If anything below is unclear, write to us — we'll fix the page, not the answer.

We run a small, independent publication. We don't run display networks on the site, we don't resell user data, and we don't profile you across the web. The business model is simple: subscriptions, partner content, and affiliate links — all of which work fine without harvesting your information.

What we collect

Information we collect.

We collect information you give us directly, plus a small amount of anonymous usage data to keep the site working well. Here's the full list, broken down by source.

  • Newsletter signups Your email address and (optionally) your name. Used only to send the newsletter you subscribed to.
  • Tool submissions Your name, email, and details about the tool you're submitting. Used only to review and respond to your submission.
  • Contact form messages Whatever you write to us, plus the email you reply from. Used only to respond to your inquiry.
  • Anonymous analytics Anonymous page views, interactions, performance metrics, and masked session diagnostics via PostHog. We do not send form contents or create advertising profiles.
  • Server logs IP address, user agent, and timestamp, retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
How we use it

What we do with your information.

Every use below maps directly to a feature on the site. We don't run background analysis, build advertising profiles, or train models on your data. Period.

  • Deliver the newsletters you've subscribed to — and nothing else
  • Respond to your messages, submissions, and support requests
  • Detect spam, prevent abuse, and keep the site secure
  • Understand which content is useful so we can write more of it
  • Comply with legal obligations when we genuinely have to
Sharing

Who else sees your data.

We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information. The only times your data leaves our systems are when it's necessary to run the site, comply with the law, or when you explicitly ask us to share it.

  • Service providers Email delivery, hosting, and analytics vendors — bound by data-processing agreements and only given the minimum data they need.
  • Legal requests If we receive a valid subpoena, court order, or other legal process, we may be required to disclose information. We'll challenge overly broad requests where the law allows.
  • Aggregated analytics Anonymous, de-identified usage trends — never tied to a specific person.
  • Business transfers If SuperFreshAI is ever acquired, your information may transfer to the new owner — but only under the terms of this policy.
Cookies & tracking

Cookies and tracking.

We use a minimal set of cookies for essential site functionality (like remembering your theme preference). PostHog analytics uses an anonymous first-party identifier stored in your browser's local storage so visits and sessions remain coherent across pages. We do not use it for cross-site tracking or advertising profiles. PostHog may collect page views, clicks, feature usage, web performance, browser errors, and privacy-masked session replays. Form fields and other sensitive regions are masked before replay data leaves your browser.

You can opt out of analytics entirely from your browser's settings, by enabling "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control," or by emailing us and we'll mark your account accordingly.

Your rights

What you can always do.

Your data is yours. Exercising these rights costs nothing, doesn't require an account, and we won't try to talk you out of it.

  • Unsubscribe from any email with a single click — no login required
  • Request a copy of every piece of personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct, update, or delete your data — typically within 7 days
  • Opt out of analytics, cookies, and any non-essential tracking
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
Security

How we keep data safe.

We apply industry-standard safeguards: HTTPS everywhere, principle-of-least-access on internal systems, regular dependency updates, and prompt patching of disclosed vulnerabilities. Access to personal data is limited to the small team that needs it to operate the site.

No system is perfect. If we ever discover a breach affecting your information, we'll notify you promptly and tell you exactly what was exposed, what we've done about it, and what you can do next.

Third parties

Services we use.

A small, vetted set of services helps us run the site. Each one processes only the data it needs to do its job, under their own privacy terms.

  • PostHog Anonymous product analytics, feature flags, surveys, web performance, error diagnostics, and privacy-masked session replay.
  • Email provider Newsletter delivery and transactional email. Stores your email address and engagement events (opens, clicks).
  • Hosting & edge network Static site hosting and CDN. Receives IP addresses and request metadata for delivery and security.
Changes

Changes to this policy.

When we update this policy, we'll post the revised version here with a new "Last updated" date. If a change is material — for example, a new category of data collection or a new sharing partner — we'll also notify active subscribers by email.

Previous versions of this policy are archived and available on request.

Contact

Get in touch.

Questions, requests, complaints — write to [email protected] or use our contact form. We read every message and respond within 5 business days, usually faster.

For formal data requests, please include the email address you'd like us to look up so we can verify your identity before taking action.

Still have questions?

Privacy policies shouldn't require a law degree. If something on this page is unclear, we'd genuinely like to know — your feedback makes the next version better.
